At KGY Warriors and Beyond, we are deeply committed to ending homelessness among our nation’s veterans. That’s why we are proud to support the HUD-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) program.

What is HUD-VASH?

The HUD-VASH program is a powerful initiative that brings together two key federal departments—the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This partnership is designed to combat homelessness by combining HUD’s Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) rental assistance with personalized case management and clinical services provided by the VA.

Through this program, eligible veterans receive crucial rental assistance that allows them to secure safe, stable housing while gaining access to ongoing support tailored to their individual needs. These services are delivered through VA Medical Centers (VAMCs), community-based outreach clinics (CBOCs), VA contractors, and other VA-designated organizations. This comprehensive approach provides not just shelter, but the tools veterans need to rebuild their lives.

The ultimate goal of the HUD-VASH program is to eliminate homelessness among veterans in counties across the nation, including the communities we serve.
